Has anyone done their MOD 2 in Herne Bay, Kent?

If you have, what are the routes like, and how confusing is it likely to be?

Thanks in advance

The one I took was back on to the dual lane nightmare, so I dont know the other routes Laughing You spend about 3-5 mins on the dual then come off at a silly small roundabout... cars just fly over the middle

Hernia Bay has some of the worst roads I've ever ridden on. Wouldn't fancy taking my test there. I do have to ride through the hideous dump now and again but that's as far as it goes.

Hmmm, only place that has slots available bfore my CBT runs out though Neutral

Well, that's according to the DSA website, Can I book it direct with a test centre? Might phone Gillingham, see if they have any slots available/cancellations.

There are too many routes to choose so you just go and do it.
They wanted the test to be more representative so there are more routes to choose from now so you don't learn parrot fashion and have to think more about planning etc..
All have the same kind of hazards to negotiate though.
I ran some of the routes around Hull and thought Thank fook I'm not doing my test now.
The roads they use are more like wide single track roads.
Too many parked cars.
I tested in Glasgow where routes are all on main city routes and some quieter suburb roads.

If you have been down the roads with your instructor then have no fear. DO as yo udo with your instructor and you will be fine.
