I bought a Suzuki GP100 the other day as a bit of a project, i have bought all of the parts, and im just waiting on headlight and tail light bulbs for the MOT.

two things im weary about is that firstly the front wheel is slightly off compared to the bars, and secondly it doesnt have indicators fitted, will it pass the MOT?

Thanks, hope you can help

Matt

Does the button for the MOT guy to check exist?
If so.. I believe it will fail, just remove the switch for it incase.. or cover with electrical tape.

Wheel being misaligned might kick up an advisory.. but my CBR went in with a slightly twisted front fork, passed fine.

Loosen the yoke clamp bolts slightly then gently bang the wheel against a wall until its straight then tighten up the bolts.

Okay thanks guys, about the indicators, if your saying that i cut off the indicator switch then it will pass without indies, and also, the mainbeam, neutral, turn lights arent working on the right hand side clcok, would that be a failure? im trying to fix it but cant find a wiring diagram anywhere.

thanks

Have you checked the bulbs?

For the indicators to pass you need to physically remove the switch and blank off the hole.

C reg is '85 IIRC so should be fine anyway.

The way it works - 'If it's there, it has to work.'

So if yo take the switchgear apart, and take out the little knob (giggidy) for the indicator switch, then blank the hole off with tape (remember, they can't take ANYTHING off the bike, and that includes tape), it will be fine.

all the bike needs to have for an MOT is a headlight/tail light with dipped/full and a brake light.

Sorted Thumbs Up

Oh, did you check the fuse for the indicators? Wink
