Can't really help you with anything technical I'm afraid, but welcome to the forum.
I'm sure some of the 'veterans' can help you out though (sadly, I'm not one of them).
Try searching the forum--you may find it's been discussed already.

Welcome to the forum
Is the start trying to turn it over?
Check the fuel line is clean.
Change the spark plug
Make sure the fuel tap is turned to on

Ok, who the hell is voting this thread as a bad thread? You might not like them, but it is just someone asking for some mechanical help with it! |

I was also thinking that ste. Just because it's got 50 in the title it automatically seems to get a red blob next to it
btw, welcome to the forum Xavier1337, sorry I can't help though.
Can petrol go stale in two weeks? |

um, I take it that now you cleaned the carbs that the bike runs?
In that case, just make sure the plug (s) are in good condition.
I don't know much about the particular bike that you mention, is it a 2 stroke? if so them make sure you keep the level of oil topped up with good quality semi synth or synthetic.
Otherwise, a little more detail might help us. ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F

I suspect it's more due to his lack of capital letters at the beggining of sentances and terrible spelling etc.
Not to up on scooter derestriction, but I suspect a 'performance' exhaust is available at least.
Have you got the bike working or not?
Welcome anyway , might be worth having a look in the FAQ section etc for the 'karma' system that is running here.
And /me pokes korn, this is why I reckon we need it toned down a bit when people first join. |

Hi
Petrol can go off, but I would not expect it to go off that quickly (most of the bikes in my garage have petrol in that is far older than that).
If the bike has been little used for a while, especially if it has just been started occasionally without any good runs then the spark plug almost certainly could do with changing. As the mixture is rich when you start the bike from cold it will foul the plug more quickly, and with no long runs it will not have a chance to clean it out.
Afraid I know nothing about that models restrictions so I cannot help you there.
All the best
