my dad bought me a honda fireblade 1000, iv had ago and it stupidly rapid, iv done 140 down a straight, but i dont want it thats fast, any suggestions of cheapest way of restriction ?

yeah, remove 950cc of it.

You need to be 17, pass your test then restrict it to 33bhp.

yes i know i have to be 17, i havnt been riding it on the road, or off road, iv got 2 mile square conrete patch on my dads farm, but i only want it a bit slower, but its a lot of fun, and i was only in 4th gear Smile

Seriously though, should have a 600cc or less, I don't imagine that insurance would be great at 17. If thats what you want to do though, I'd have a look at some insurance quotes before you set on having that bike...its fast.

Don't worry about resricting it, just keep doing wheelies, doing 140mph on a shitty bit of farm tarmac and natural selection will take care of it.
