Before we start, i have looked, but i find it difficuilt to get answers:

I turned 17 today, i will be riding my 125 soon, but im looking to do my bike test. From what i can understand i need to take a "a" test which consits of a mod 1 and 2 and a theory.

What im asking is, do i need to do any training before, i do have cbt, but i mean like driving, i need to do 10hours before i can take a test. So what else need do i need to do the tests?

Many thanks

Providing you have the CBT you can insure and ride a 125.

Tests are as follows.

Theory. Needs done before anything else. This is a different test to the car theory so make sure you specify when you book.

Mod 1: This is an off road test. You can do this as soon as you pass your theory if you so wish. Whether you pass it or not is another matter. You dont need any lessons but I would recomend a couple. Look online for mod 1 test and you'll get a good idea of what you in for.

Mod 2: This is an on road test. The examiner will follow you and give you directions/instructions and if you ride at an acceptable standard you will pass. You can only do this after you have passed the Theory and Mod 1.

Best advise I can give is practice slow control until you can do all the requirements for mod 1.
