Right I got the ZZR6 I'm doing up for a mate running today I took it for a spin and it feels great loads of power, the only thing is there are a few problems, Mainly electrical.

Right the following work fine.

Indicators
Oil Light
Neutral light
Pass high beam
Brake light
Engine

The lights do not work, the fuse is fine, high beam works off of the pass light button but not from the switch. Neither does the rear light or dipped beam.

Any Suggestions.

Another thing. It has about 5/6 litres of fuel in it but the fuel lights (there are 2 for some reason?) flash. They flash just like indicators with the same relay clicking noise. I took the flasher unit out in case there was a bad earth running through the indicators but there carried on flashing. Confused Are they supposed to do that? I did notice the electrical connector to the tank was cracked and slightly melted however it still made a solid connection.

Another thing anyone know what the unconnected wire below is, the wire is red/white it appears to come from what I think was the starter solenoid.

Another thing, when I rev it the revs take a while to fall am I right in thinking this in an air-leak?

Check to see if there is power at the headlight fuse (they do not always put the "pass" button through the fuse on Kawasakis for some reason).
