Following on from Luke's thread about bikes, I thought it might be interesting to see what cars BCf members have driven in the past. Very Happy It doesn't have to be a long journey, just swerving round an empty Sainsbury's car park will count. Just remember to mention if you have a valid car license or not Wink Kellog's licenses do not count btw Korn Razz

I'll start then...

Austin Maestro 1.6L
Vauxhall Corsa 1.4
Peugeot 106
Renault Clio
Ford Mondeo
'69 Pontiac Firebird (6.6L Shocked )
Vauxhall Nova 1.2 Embarassed

No driving license.

Hmmm. I've had a full license since I was 17 so there's been quite a few. Of course, I remember the early cars:

A wobbly blue Yugo.
A slightly less wobbly pea green Lada Riva. Cool
My beloved Mk2 Golf that I had for years and years.

And then it all starts getting a bit fuzzy. I remember my mate's Cavalier with no brakes, the big Jaguar which my tech studies teacher let me have a go in, and borrowing my boss' new 206cc cabriolet which I really really wanted to keep.

Assorted rental cars, cars belonging to friends, cars belonging to friends parents (sometimes with permission, sometimes not) and various cars at work - currently the IT wagon is a dirty great Jeep that drinks petrol and breaks down a lot.

More recently I recall there was the brand new Renault Megane that I hired to drive to Scotland and then took G and Ste out for driving lessons in, and my first taste of an automatic - driving the big Merc that Kev had hired for his wedding. Also had my first go at reverse parking a long wheelbase transit that night. Rolling Eyes

Hired a 7.5 tonne lorry, but didn't fancy my first attempt at driving such a vehicle to be negotiating my way round the Tesco's carpark in Slough, so made Kev drive. Confused

And of course, we cannot forget the majesty of the Joy machine. Oh the power, the handling...

... it's a one litre E-reg Micra. Neutral

Nissan 200sx into nextdoor's caravan

I don't have a driving license. Put my wife's Nissan into the neigbour's caravan when I was desperate to get my bike out to px it for the first Blade! My insurance was minutes away from running out on the R6, she was at work, "reverse it yourself" she said, "which part of I don't drive don't you understand" I said. So reverse it I did! God damned caravans! Wink

Well had a full driving license since I was 17, learnt to drive at 12 (moving cars round my fathers garage) so I've driven lots of different cars.

Range include minis (850cc - 1380), BMW's, fords, vaxhalls, fiats, old Ausin 8, Ausin 10 and other old cars, MG BGT's etc etc etc.

Too many to list to be honest.

Driven too many to mention, however I've owned

VW Polo - Ran on 2 Star (remember that!)
Opel Manta GTE - Complete with 80's hairdo
Cavalier 2.0 SRi - Boring Tank Wagon
Rover 220 Turbo - Lost it's panache after a pratt with no insurance decided to drive straight at me as opposed to picking a lane.
Puegeot 106 GTi - The best toy I ever had - like a matchbox car with an engine, wish I still had it but I got too old to be a boy racer (and caps make me look stupid) so it had to go Sad
Now Puegeot 307 HDi - Ageing maturity plays its' part with disastrous results Confused

lol a thread about shopping wagons! Very Happy

Ok...

This is my list, and to be honest the drive in any of them hasn't been that great, better than getting the bus though I suppose! I wouldn't mind a car thats moderately fun, obviously it can't compete with bikes on the fun factor though!

Daewoo Matiz (Bit powerful for me... what with the 850cc's and all Laughing)
Ford Fiesta 1.1
Suzuki Jimny Jeep
Honda Accord 2.0
Fiat Cinquecento (or however you spell it!)
Peugoet 106 (currently driving that, it's my mums car)
