When I accelerate and pull clutch in the bike cuts out.

It may be exactly that, because its cold. You're probably not letting her warm up enough before setting off. So when you pull the clutch in, revs drop and its easier to cut out.

How long are you holding the clutch in for it to cut out? even a second or so can be enough to cut out a bike on a cold day

dragstaar beat me to it...
my k3 Bandit does the same when cold if I haven't adjusted the choke/throttle adjuster properly.
