Hi does anyone have an XBOX they want to sell me. Any condition as it as long as it basically works.

Even better would be an LINUXBOX save me doing any work.

I don't want any games with it unless you have Mech assault which also would be handy and i only need 1 PAD.

Post or send me a PM if you will sell me it for 40-50 depending on condition.

If you have a PC put Linux on it - If you get an XBOX, play games on it - why do this mod? Is there something I am missing?

The XBOX is a small PC waiting to be unlocked. you can do lots of useful stuff with it while retaining the ability to XBOX play games.

You can : play divx,xvid,mp3,pc games on it.

Turn it into a small effeicent webserver or a desktop computer with printer,scanner and dvd writer.

And it a lot cheaper than buying a pc or web server.

Go to the website and read it before you dismiss it.

I did read the site and I've got an XBOX but I could build a PC with that spec for about £200 so why bother? Everyone o their own I suppose - good luck with it mate.

Linux on a Xbox seems pointless, if you install Linux you can't use Xbox live which is one of the major plus points of the Xbox.

Although it may be quite good to be able to do some of that stuff on a Xbox there is really no need.

Also aren't you using a PC already so why do you need to have a Xbox that is like a PC

That is true Gav but again what is the point ? You could also build a higher spec PC to do the same things 'monkeyman' wants to do for the same money as a new Xbox. I've also never heard of anyone selling a used one for 50 quid. Still good luck though.
