Don't, it will be a Chinese copy not a Jap copy.

Original and best keep your old one.

Well mines an offroad bike that i use for racing up and down the complex i work in and his is a fully road legal bike.
He said he just wants it to look mor like a proper honda rather than a copy.
Are they really made bad? Like pistons made of cheese and all the comical crap i hear about them?

Err, who in JAPAN would 'copy' the CG engine?!?!
Its a Chinky or Korean 'COPY' at best, licence made.
And if he JUST wants it to 'look' like a 'propper' Cg engine, then there are plenty of genuine CG motor covers with 'Honda' emblazoned on the castings new or used on e-bay, for not a lot of money!
Why?
Unless you have something 'better', and he thinks its 'wasted' taxing around off road?

A quick look on ebay of low milage chinese bikes up for spares or repair gives you the answer. It wont always be that way though, japanese bikes were once considered cheap crap. But for the time being keep your bullet proof honda item.
