there are a few different autosols, get the one in the picture not the hard chrome or whatever it is that is also found a lot.

Does a really good job; apply with a rag, rub it in loads then buff it off with a clean rag.

Just remember it's not magic paste you put on and it goes shiney, it's abrasive and you have to rub the shit out of it. It'll be black with dirt and other particles, that's a good thing, keep rubbing that stuff into the scratch. Wipe most of it off with the same cloth, then buff the hell out it with a clean one and it'll look like a mirror.

Personally, i prefer this stuff:

https://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_167641_langId_-1_categoryId_165527

I've used it over the years for detailing my own cars, as well as other people's, and I have found the results to be better than autosol, as the shine seems to last longer.

It is, yes, but then you only use small amounts.

It's the same with other detailing products and polishes to be honest. I bought myself a DA polishing machine a few months back and was bawking at the prices of some of the polishing and sealing products. However, having gone for some of the middle of the range stuff (I mostly use the Meguairs products) I have discovered that you use a lot less than cheaper ones.

I use the Autosol listed above, and I can say it is really good stuff!

The trick as Donny pointed out is when you have the polish on just really go for it.

I use it on everything, footpegs etc. Doesn't take to much to get everything shiny again!
