Bought this several weeks ago and have been working on it ever since. Its never going to be a super clean bike but its a lot of fun, loud as hell and something that bit different. Ive posted pics of it before on here but did some sort of 'arty shots' today.

Its a XL600 V Transalp originally.

I didnt build the bike and am still trying to trace the builder to get more details about it. The wiring was pretty bad though and Im gradually working my way through it and threadlocking every nut and bolt as well Laughing
There is a small spring under the seat which offeres a very small bit of relief when going over any bumps but generally its one hard ride.

regarding the seat.A mate of mine built a chop recently with a hinged seat mounted on a air shock from a mountain bike with great results... Thumbs Up

Yep I think thats where the shock for mine comes from. Its about 4" long and you can alter the compression by hand. When I first got the bike it was wound up tight so I felt every single bump straight through my arse. I realised I had some small adjustment and this has made a huge improvement.
