I am just returning to biking after 35 years (I am 61) and have bought a beautiful 1985 Nighthawk. I know there are not many about but would love to hear from anyone that has or has had one.☺

Roger - Actually it is a heavy bike and I get it into my shed with some difficulty. But I do love it.
Last week I almost bought a z 1000 instead, so I am glad that that deal on eBay fell through. I rode it back fro Bournemouth to West Bromwich and it was gorgeous to ride, but I had forgotten how hard the wind hits you after 55 mph.

Do you have a similar machine?

Nope. I had a ponder about getting something similar last year, but the weight put me off, and I'm not a big fan of IL4 - I like it a bit rough. Never say never though.
