We have had armed police crawling all over my road this evening. Following an armed robbery a couple of scroats took a girl hostage.
Must have been close on 100 cops deployed at least 6 armed with mc guns. All over now, we have not had as much fun since the garage full of welding bottles caught fire last year,no one hurt.

It was good fun ( not for the girl held hostage of course) it very much united the street and I made some new friends and got a invitation to Iftari during ramadan (the meal at the breaking of the fast) from a lady I have never talked to before plus I got to chat with the very fit Pakistani girls ten doors down the road.
