Just wanted to share my excitement to be honest...

Passed my CBT a couple of weeks ago and theory today, have treated myself to a jacket:

Still looking for gloves so if anybody has any decent shouts on what to look at I'm all ears - going to go helmet shopping this weekend.

DAS booked for 2nd-5th November. Looks like I have a bike lined up and ready to go as well.

It's safe to say I have caught the biking bug and can't wait to get the DAS mod1 and 2 done and dusted (with a bit of luck first time)!

Well done and good luck with the DAS! As it's getting chillier soon I would advise getting a good pair of winter gloves with some thinsulation!

Good luck, passing will be the best feeling in the world. If you can hack the cold I would stay away from thick winter gloves during your training/test it just makes pressing the indicators/instruments that much harder and more likely to make a mistake or lose concentration. I wore a pair of armoured MX gloves for mine Thumbs Up

I have a mate who used to work for HG and I would just send him links to jackets I liked the look of and he would give me a bit of guidance/advice on if it was good, was there anything similar from another brand which would be cheaper etc etc.

Buying gloves/helmet though are going to be a trip into the shop, find ones that I like the look/feel of - then go online and find them for the cheapest price! Mr. Green

Congratulations! I can still remember the day I passed my test and the great feeling that came with it.

Good luck with the DAS.

Bought a new lid, gloves and some trousers over the weekend.

Weather up here in Aberdeen is meant to get worse over the next few weeks so fingers crossed we don't get any snow.
