Reccomend me a SatNav setup?

[Louis101993]

I'm looking for a cheap sat nav setup that I can bolt onto my bike for generally riding purposes, I passed my test two days ago and yesterday, my first day on my new bike (Kawa ZXR 400) I did 70 miles to birmingham to meet a friend, but I had alot of trouble finding the way to his house once I got off the M6...

So I need anything that's gonna take me in the right direction and preferably not going to direct me into rivers and such!

Thanks, Louis.

Google map on phone / car sat nav (if you have one) and stick to tank (or put in tank bag if you have one with a clear pocket for map).

Car sat navs are cheaper than bike one as they are not shower proof.

Bike sat navs are expensive but I think worth it if you plan to tour alot. If you join the IAM (to do the bike test) you can get £120 off the garmin bike sat nav which will cover most of the cost of the IAM course. (Don;t be put off the IAM course if you just got your licence - prob the best time to do it IMO).
