A few months ago i changed down from my 929 'blade to a hyosung GT250R. The main reason was to make it easier for the wife to follow me on her CBF125. Well, it felt like a risk but i am really glad i did it...these are really underrrated bikes, and IMO soooo sexy. The only mods i have added are top yoke protector, tinted screen, dual port aftermarket can and rear hugger.

cool,a guy i know has the 125 version, but its pretty gutless imo

Cant comment on the 125, never tried it. A 125 that looks like that is never gonna live up to expectations mind. The 250 is pretty lively for its size though. Cruises nicely at about 85-90, and acceleration is quick enough to beat most cars from the lights. Obviously it was a mahoosive change from the 'blade but i surprised myself by being able to live with it. Plus, its really well made.

I have the 125 version and use it as a economical commuter. Easily get 350 miles to a tank full. Its quick enough for the riding i do. One thing that i am not impressed by is the paint has flaked off on the swing arm. Why it couldn't of been powder coated like the rest of the frame i do not know.

Other than that its been fantastic.

It sits at 60 mph no hassle, and wallops most chavtastic hatchbacks from the lights.

Also in the wet, make sure the sidestand switch is cleaned often, or get it bypassed, as this is a common bug bear with these bikes.

I will be keeping mine for a while yet, in no rush to use a 600 cc plus for commutes.

Very nice! I'm jealous. =P

I hate to be rude an' all, but how are these to ensure?
I mean, is Hyosung a bitch to find on insurance listings, or is it reasonable?

Market research for future bikes an' all. Razz

You need to look under H Wink Seriously I've found it first time on every site that i've been on.

My GT250 costs £59 a year to insure TP so dirt cheap i guess Thumbs Up

Nice bike BTW I may treat myself to a GTR next year.

Well whatever it is I wise the swing arm was similar. Instead of a thin layer of Black paint! You will find Hyosung on any insurance site. Mine costs £ 167 comp for this year Smile
