I absolutely love mine, it handles alot better if you change the tyres on it also, as the original items are shockingly bob in the wet, changed mine to Dunlop Sportsmax jobbies. Only real problems ive had is starting problems when it got wet after a torrential downpour. But other than that its been ace.

I've got the gt125 (naked, no r) and have had no problems in the last thousand or so miles. I've really enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone. It's the sheer size that's my favourite aspect, i really didn't want to feel like complete tw@t as a 6 footer on a tiny little bike ( kept hitting my knees on the cg's bars on my cbt).
Even with ~13 stone and no faring it'll reach 70 on the flat. Only problem I've had are a lack of power if it's not warmed up properly. ____________________ current: ducati monster 750

Wow all the Hyo riders are coming out of the wood work now. And DF just wow totaly shocked at your choice of bike.
But please tell me i'm not the only one with the 650?
But really nice to see more people buying these amazing bikes, also abit of backround info on the 650.
The original frame for the 650 was the one that is on the 250, but the 650lump produced so much torque it twisted it when coming off the line.
Ooo, so many questions to ask like,
How you finding the handling?
What about the torque?
Do you get the shoulder rip on it at 7k as I do with mine?
Does yours do the ace pop pop pop, when the trottle is closed?
Woooo photo whoring
In one piece -https://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv190/Rocketgt650r/DSC00400.jpg
Just don't try and make it fly sideways over a ditch at 90mph and through a hedge, it doesn't end well for you or the bike lol. Torn tendons, broken ribs and diloctaed ankle FTW https://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv190/Rocketgt650r/DSC00919.jpg

For the ins, and that is with:-
Age -19
License for - 2 weeks
My Postcode is relitively high because of my house been robbed 6times in 4years.
3 years no claims
3points
Restricted license
The bike was around £4k, with 1500miles and straight out of the showroom.
It now is on around 11,000miles (thats 9,500 miles in 11months and 1 oil change)
Ermm slightly battered from the winter
And needing a slight service, but no major problems.
And still starts 1st time on the button.
They really are cracking little bikes, and realy does make me laugh when people say how bad they apparently are, then their face when I tell them the abuse mine has had. And then start up and ride off.
Cheers

O yer if ou need any parts, and are rather stuck to find them I have a rather good friend who gets me them for manufacturing price. So i could ship them to you or whatever.
Also as said before Check out www.korider.net loads of stuff in there that is wierd and wonderful, but mainly check out the 650 section, less top speeds and such.
Cheers

Apparently my bike is heavier than the CBR which is sitting beside it in one of my pics above. I didnt test it as I didnt fancy dropping my mates CBR.
Good insurance warped! My other half paid about that on an RS and he is 28 I always pay between £50-£70 for any bike. ____________________ All the breast.

Well just a few facts to clear up some misconceptions,
Suzuki and Hyosung are not sister companies,
The designer did move from suzuki to Hyosung and built their engine because he was given the freedom of design, what a choice that was
Hyosungs do not melt/fall apart in the rain,
They do not go bang after 10miles,
They are not shit
They ARE good around bikes,
The reason why people say all these stupid and quite frankly idiotic things is because they have not ridden one and just thing because they are new they are crap, wrong,
A bit of an insight, unlike suzuki, kwak, yam ,ect. They have desinged their bikes to basically work, they aren't meant to be super fast super whatever. The best way to describe them is industrial, simple basic movement. And for them me and all other Hyo riders it works, they are chea to run, and rarely ever breakdown (unlike the popular misconception of retards) which makes them excelent bikes, and to all those retards out there I say, go out ride/buy one then come back in 6months and tell me the same.
Cheers
