Bought an old aprilia rx 50...in a bit of a physical & mechanical state, after a few engine mods i decided to give the bike a full respray.
Below are pics of before and after, excuse the mud...i had been offroading that day and couldn't be bothered to clean it.

Before:

After:

A new black seat cover is currently being fitted, will upload a final pic by the weekend clean and with a seat cover Very Happy

Yeah, that's what I thought.... aparently you can get it in aerosols now from all good 4x4 emporiums....... Rolling Eyes
Personally I prefer the old fasioned way of doing it....

Or over doing it....

Not picking on you, apparently you CAN get spray on MUD!
Note the total abscence of "One Life - Live it" stickers.... you know the 4x4ing equivilent.... take note Wilksie, of the cliche'd, 'I wannabee part of the in-crowd, so I got a sticker too..... whatzit mean by the way" Monster Energy, decal!
Green Laning LaNdies is..... fun. (Ad on Edit! though green Laning LADIES can be more fun, depending on the lady, and how dirty they like to get!!)
https://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w269/teflons-torque/039_034_Salisbury/imag0303.jpg
(Clic pic for vid)
Its when you have them leaned further over than you do the bike, and they DONT fall over, and you think.... "err this thing weights two tons, and its a car! It SHOULDN'T be doing stuff like this!"
Even more fun if you are with some dolts in Japanese 4x4's that don't do it... or one of the X-Treme idiots with big wheel,s a six inch jack up kit, and a snorkle, who tries and DOES fall over!
But for the really extreme stuff, THIS is better:-
https://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s209/montesa-trials/02_MyTrials/bike_003.jpg
(Click for vid {About 3m12, cought on film, front wheel in the air, cornering, on a hill!})
That's REAL off-roading!

Would have been a lot better if you'd decided to give it a bloody good clean before posting pics. Laughing

It's to cover up the gas damper. Common on some pitbikes and dirtbikes. Just a bit to make your bike different I guess. Never done it myself though.

Lovely bike mate, I loved my rx50 when I had one!!

My brother had an RX50, something new broke on it every week Razz Did 55mph though and used to be able to start it with your hand, or just by walking alone and bump starting it that way. Probably needed a rebuild as well Shocked Better than a 'ped any day tho, enjoy it.

Good job on the paintwork, looks good for a DIY job. And the new front mudguard is a huge improvement.
