Well i've finally completed my first full top end rebuild on the 94 NSR RR but have run into a bit of bother. On stripping the barrel I noticed that the powervalve didn't seem to be aligned properly and probably contributed on my lack of top end power.

I've rebuilt it all and put the powervalve back on today. Following the manual it explains how to align the power valve with the servo on H and the mark on the left aligned with the central mark on the power valve casing. I cannot for the life of me get this alignment correct even adjusting the cables. The closest I can get to the mark is around 1/2 way across.

Can somebody give me a guide to do this and with some photo's would be great. I've gone through the workshop maual but this doesn't seem to work.

Might be worth dropping Alains a PM - he's the NSR guru.
