I done some GSXR seals the other day, I spent more time scratching my head trying to work out how to support the bike using just a car jack, than I did doing the seals.

The seals aren't always blown. If they are leaking a little and the stanchions aren't rusty/pitted, try shoving a piece of thin, flexible but fairly rigid plastic down between the seal and the stanchion. A photographic negative with the notches cut off is perfect for this.

You often get dirt accumulating under the seal which stops it sealing. The film scrapes it off. I did this just the other day on my fiancees bike that had oil running down the forkleg. Clean as a whistle now.

I may try this tomorrow... I have 1 (left) fork leaking... leaves a little puddle or about 30 drops whenever I park it up Sad obviously could be blown, but they were new (fitted year previous, but bike not used) and 1 side is perfect!
