The tide goes down so you can simply walk accross so it's not an island. You could probably get away with calling it a peninsula.

When I looked there were 21,776 BCF'ers, so for the, paltry sum of £4.37 each, that "island" could belong to BCF.
Rounding up the subscription, to a fiver each, would leave a cool £13.7k to spend on beer & BBQ !
