a few times ive been going along and the bike will feel really light and it will shift a lil to one side, usaully at low speeds... Anything wrong with my bike or is it just the road surface? I went through about 2miles of roadworks earlier and the road had been ripped up everywhere was covered in gravel!!!! Felt like i had no grip at all then and had to take it very carefully at low speeds. Ive recently had a new back tyre fitted but ive put about 150miles on it already so it should be broken in?
Any ideas, perhaps tyre presuure or the wheels arent balanced properly? Might have to take it into the shop and talk to the guys that fitted the tyre.

I'd check your pressures first, bikes can feel very strange with just a small drop in tyre psi.

If not they might not have balanced the wheel very well, or maybe the weight's have fallen off?

Could also have just been you picked up a load of crap on the tyres running through the roadworks.

Cheers for the reply dude. I will check the pressure later today and maybe check the forks are adjusted right... I can throw it round no probs most of the time but like i say 2 or 3 times it feels a bit dodgey Sad

You sure your front tyre hasn't gone off? Mine is shagged on the Bandit, and it can feel very strange in corners at low speeds.

My bike does this too, but only on a certain part of a certain road (and without fail every time). So personally, I put it down to the road condish. I just slow it down a touch there.
