Definitely something different to the Gixxer, much more fun...

Pics make it seem a little pinky. But it's not.

Tidy looking bike. I'd be a bit worried about the state of that oil filter, though: if the rust around the exposed lip of it gets any deeper, it'll be a bastard to remove.

Tidy bike mate, well done. Impressed with the condition of the bottom yoke, they usually turn to rust instantly Cool

What do you think of it so far?

Have to recommend a hugger though; the rear shocks aren't up to much anyway and they'll really take a battering without one. If you get stuck with anything they're a decent bunch on the HHOC, including one guy in particular who has changed his unrecognisably and got in excess of 110bhp out of it.

Yes they are certainly good bikes as they've got so much low down torque it's easy doing tight little turns on it. Also, it's a bit top heavy when the tank it full and it's quick off the mark!

Yep, like others said watch out for the rust and I would not recommend bother buying a Corbin seat for it, as they are not worth the money because after a few hours riding you've got to take a break from sitting!

It's good that you've got buns/frame sliders they will certainly save that tank from getting scraped/dented if dropped accidentaly, except they won't save scraping to the seat surround/exhaust casing which I found out one day after some woman driver decided to cut me off. It's easy getting replacements!

Nice bike and as others have said, do something about that oil filter. Great fun and very reliable bikes. I had one and modded it quite a bit Thumbs Up

Cheers for all the pointers.

Looking into an oil filter, monies very tight at the moment.

Loving it so far, much more fun than my gixxer, looks, everything. Improved.

Also taken off that hideous fly screen.

Welsh.... your at it again!
That's some one's pride and joy you are talking about, why do you have to knock it?
Race can, bars, belly-pan, might not be a lot, and might be 'bolt ons', but look at the insurance forms, they are declarable 'modifications'... might not be huge changes compared to say building a hard tail chopper, or pro street drag bike, but they take the bike away from declared show room spec and are still 'mods'... don't belittle it, for the sake of. Doesn't make your bike any better, or make you sound any more a biker... just makes you sound a nay saying knocker... give him a break...
