Well i sold the 2000 plate r6 and used the money from the sale and from my insurance claim back in 2010 and me and potato on here went to go view an R1 its a 2004 and had only 8300 miles on it it has a power commander fitted , crg levers , gilles rearsets and two brothers exhaust with a de cat'd pipe it looked in good nick so i bought it for £4900 and have spent alot of time and money on it making it look how it is now so far id removed the mirrors which the previous owner had fitted but he had fitted k7 mirrors with built in indicators , the indicators worked but the mirrors were only good at telling me if i had shoes on so obviously the k7's nose isnt as slanted as the r1 so i removed them and rewired them and fitted flush LED's i then fitted an intergated tail light which tidys up the back beautifully , next was a set of R&G fork protectors and cotton reels, a quick release fuel cap and a new tank pad as the old one was scratched and looked tacky i then set my sights on replacing the plastic hugger and chain guard and went with a carbon set from tyga ive now ordered the tank infills and come pay day il be getting the exhausts heat sheild in carbon and work my way down my shopping list Very Happy

If you haven't scrolled down already heres some pictures..enjoy

very nice and nice colour too...
so what do you think of the jump from the 6 to the litre?
i think you need some of those blank off plates for where the mirrors used to be if your leaving them off..

Looks smart - though it looks incredibly gay from the front without mirrors, put some OE mirrors back on it - please.

Its just that angle that it looks like a cone head, and the only people that will see it like that are midgets.

And there isn't that many about tbh Laughing
