Quote:
TECH3 Yamaha rider Cal Crutchlow crashed in qualifying at Silverstone, breaking his collarbone.

Crutchlow lost the back-end of his Yamaha on the entry to Turn 2, just three laps into qualifying. His team said that the track was cold and that Crutchlow's hard rear tyre wouldn't been up to temperature.

Crutchlow, who had been top-six in all three free practice sessions and who won both World Superbike races last year, was expecting to do well at his home circuit. Team mate Colin Edwards, who suffered a similar crash at Catalunya, qualified eighth.

Proper gutted for him.

Bit of a shame, on a brighter note Redding is starting from the front row Thumbs Up

And on a side note the bbc coverage was shocking yet again, they cut away on freeview with one minute of qualifying left (yes the one minute where everything happens), to show an F1 practice session, not even something important just a practice session.
They said coverage would continue online which would have been fine if they'd said beforehand. But they broke this news with about 1m36sec remaining. So I missed the last minute trying to turn my computer on and log onto the bbc website Thumbs Down

Laughing My computer is from 2002, it makes so much noise you have to use ear defenders and can't hear the TV properly.

Bugger.. I hope he will be ok.

It will affect my mcn fantasy league.. Laughing I wanted to see him racing in Silverstone badly. I had quite high expectations too.
