Hi guys,

Fitting a new chain and sprockets to the cbr. I didn't get instructions with my chain tool, I've managed to get the chain fitted anyway just by looking at the tool, some video's I've watched mentioned using a hammer to squash the end of the soft links over so they hold the side of the link on.

Is that the right thing to do? There doesn't seem to be anything holding the link together.

So you've got the side plate on over the pins but not flared the soft ends of the pins?

Has the tool not got a bit that you screw onto the pin ends that looks like half a ball bearing on the end?
