Very smart bike - shame it's a biaggi rep Wink (well actually, no, because I don't see a no 3 anywhere on that bike).

I quite miss the fag packet liveried bikes of yesteryear. That a UK respray or a chinese jobby by any chance? I know on the 1000RR's you can pretty much get a decent colour match all over the bike because of the plastic tank cover.

I've been tempted to upgrade to the 04 Thou RR or 06 but my mechanic has been stressing me not to if I intend to put 12k miles on it annually.

As far as I know it was sprayed over here...Well the RSVR Factory I had previously had nearly 60k on the clocks, still going strong but lost all its value due to the amount of miles and to be fair I just wanted a change from a vtwin.

Ha, yea get the "toe" jokes alot and I too am waiting for it to be scribbled on.

Sorry to bump this post up, but got a few questions since I'm looking to trade my bike and top of my list so far has been an 04-07 RSV-R Factory as well as the 04-06 Thou RR.

Because you managed to do 60K miles on that, how was it? I'm putting on silly miles on my 929 blade so by the end of the year, it'll be ticking over 50k!

I know the 929 and 1000RR are different animals, but in your opinion, what's better for the roads, the your blade or RSV?

Sorry for bumping it up, but I thought I might ask.

The Factory was really reliable, used it everyday of the year for work and went to southern Ireland on it twice and had no issues atall. Mine was just a stock 04 factory that I got from onyerbike.

I don't think there's any point in having the factory version unless you track it imo, as the mag wheels and ohlins can cost alot more to repair if needed.

The bike isnt the most fun to use around town and I could see some people crying that its harder to control speed but I loved it and would always have another one...

Just got back from Spain - Catalunya GP! on the blade and fookin loved it. 2200 miles Very Happy great time
