Change gears w/out the clutch, can you still move in first? Cable is too short, clutch is always semi-engaged in your case.

You can change gears without the clutch, provided you blip the throttle, or when the bike's at idle. Again, does the bike move with clutch engaged? (without the cable) It doesn't take much to disengage the clutch, could be a stuck bracket that does it, could be the springs, although I highly doubt it. You might want to take off the clutch case, cool down the engine beforehand and make make sure you drain the residual oil left when you crack 'er open. ____________________ "Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. He said he had fully removed the cable and the bike still doesn't dance. OP, care to elaborate further on the issue? ____________________ "Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase.
