Went for a 105 mile ride on the pc50 yesterday, 5 miles from destination in town traffic ithe bike developed a very slight scraping sound on the clutch side of the engine which grew gradually worse... Got there and parked her up. Hour later i started her and scraping was still there, died on idle... Needed a small amount of throttle to idle. Felt like clutch was dragging slightly. Rode for 2 minutes, power faded rapidly and back wheel suddenly locked up. Still seized 24 hours later. Engine has all its oil albeit rather dirty considering its only been in there just over 120 mile! It had a full top end rebuild just over 300 miles ago too! Help?! What the hell could have caused this?

I suggest taking the head off to see what is going on. Is there a chance that something mechanical has failed and 'jammed' the engine up, rather than it siezing?
Scraping noise could have been a noisy crank bearing giving up. This might also explain having to use a bit of throttle to get it to idle. The dying bearing would have created alot of resistance slowing the engine down.
Other than that i cant really help unfortunatly, but i hope you get it going again!

Small engines have short lives.
I'd suspect you big end or little end bearings have flown apart and jammed the piston.
Still repairable.

Sounds like rings......or the circlip has fallen out maybe. Bearings tend to "knock" or "rattle" when on the way out.

There were no rattles or knocks or any extra vibrations. Just a slight chafing sound from the clutch side of the bottom end. The circlips and rings are brand new genuine honda parts that were fitted correctly. Shes been running right on the money for 300 odd mile so why now?
