Well the R6 is 95% complete now. After replacing almost everybit of plastic she is looking good.

All that needs to be done now is put the new panels back on, once I have received the top cowl back from its respray, and touch up some black that was taking off the wheels when the tape came away Confused .

Take a look at the nice new backend, what you all think?

One of nicest around actually, very clean.

Was polishing the rims yourself easy? I've wanted polished rims for ages but never had the guts to actually do it myself.

When you doing the front?

The front has been done too! just the batterys went dead in the camera as I was taking these!

Stripping the wheels is easy! Just make sure that you tape well.
Some of the tape came away so paint I didn't want to come off as been removed, however I was planing in getting the centres powdered coated blue!

Stu I've seen a few with blue centers, but the black centers look sooooooo much better.

Wavy rear disc will look cool too.

You don't need to tape if you strip the whole thing!!!

He he he he I knew I shouldn't have started modding Wink

Seriously I only stripped the whole thing so I can etch primer and spray the innard black - been looking at Mica paint today too - may go for black with a purple glitter effect!!! How 80's!!!?

Looking good there though R6stu buddy, wish I could afford an R6!!!
