Hi all, I am new to this and am pulling my hair out with my Gsx 400F. wonder if any one can help.

I took the fuel tank off my bike the other day to see why the cooling fan would not work. after finding that the thermostatic switch was faulty, i connected the fan to the battery so it would come on with the ignition. Now the bike has a lack of acceleration and power. Underneath the tank there are three little push on rubber hoses, one goes to the carbs but the other two go somewhere else. Have i got these mixed up or have i disturbed something. Any ideas please.

David.

Can you post up a picture of the area with these hoses.
They could be over flow hoses for the carbs or vacuum hoses.

I have 2 spare rubber hoses that are not connected to anything on mine, although they come from the carb. They can be connected to the piston head as my engine is liquid cooled, this way the carb can be warmed up from start by circulating coolant around it.

Dont think this helps much, but a picture would be helpful Smile
