bike up for mot on saturday and i just noticed the rear brake light switch is not connected, its just hanging loose in behind the master cylinder
it does light the brakelight when i pull out the pin on it
what does this connect to on the brake pedal? is ist supposed to be a spring?
and where does the brake switch itself mount ?

any pictures would be a big help
bike is 1991 jc20 model

thanks

yes , it's a spring (#4) ref is 35357-MF9-000 (see david silver spares)
obviously look if the bit on top of the switch has still a hole to clip the spring (if not you may change switch or drill a 1mm through the axis)
