Well, I had an insurance engineer bloke pop round today. After a little chat we kinda "agreed" that it should be a Cat B writeoff, and hopefully I'll have the option of buying the salvage.

Basically, forks are bent, clocks broken, rear subframe bent, front and rear discs warped, rear wheel dinged (but probably useable), radiator and fan dead, all plastics mashed, and something's wrong with the electrics as the fuel injectors won't fire up, which means that the engine won't turn over.

Hi TiN,

Now that the insurance bloke has been and classed the bike as scrap, is the other party going to payout for a new one ?

Did she admit it was her fault and have you got any witnesses ?

Any news at all ?
