Hey guys, this is sort of an introduction aswell as my on going project!

my names Adam, im 20 and ride a 2007 R1.

Ive had a few bikes over the past few years but my favourite was my t reg R1 which i sold not long ago to get myself the newer R1 i have now. Unfortunately a couple of months ago i had a bit of an accident at a photoshoot for a car club i used to be part of.
Basically Drift cars + wheelying bikes = pain.
ill let the photo's do the talking...

nice new r1

smashed up bike

6weeks later after having the frame straightened and replacing...
forks,
lights,
nose fairing,
side fairings,
tank
airbox cover,
yokes,
levers,
right foot hanger,
right engine casing,
double bubble screen,
front fairing/clock bracket
ram air tubes,
and god knows how many clips and brackets!
This is how she looks.

Now you may say thats extremely bad luck, but from rebuilding my bike i realised how much of a gap in the market there was for a motorcycle breakers,

and this is how it all started!

sorry for the rambling on!

Kind of spam but not too bad as there was a story Laughing

How did the car hit you? Surely you can't drift on a straight road!

Anyway nice bike, I like that shape R1 the best Thumbs Up

The second picture looks like the road that leads to that straight they could have easily have been coming up there

A decent drifter will keep the car sideways on a straight by fishtailing it from left to right until he finds a corner

(Kinda like what you do used to do on NFS to keep your drift points up Mr. Green)

OP: Bad news on the bike I like the new look Wink How does she ride? And what car did you hit? It's hard to tell with the bodykit on Nissan Silvia?

Good Job on the fix up

I don't want to sound rude, but it seems a bit bloody idiotic to allow a drift car and a bike on the same piece of road at the same time....

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Hmm, interesting view point. If you can make it work then all the best to you, however I'd suggest there's not as much as a gap as their used to be. Many breakers have gone out of business due to the rise of the internet and ebay. The surviving ones also aren't as busy as they used to me.

Personally, prefer the new look.

Loving the HID kit on there also, looks pretty mean!
