hi everyone, my piaggio NRG failed its MOt on seized forks, the mechanic told me that it is possible to fix them by taking it all apart cleaning it and fitting new bushes and new seals, my only probelm is i do not know how to take them apart,

i have taken them off the bike,

removed the seals

taken the bolt out at the bottom of the forks

does anyone else know how to do the rest ?

many thanks charlie

Big bolt at top of tube out, look down and you may have a bolt you need to hold still somehow and at the other end you will have another bolt or hex you need to turn to split the two parts.
