CG125 kickstart spring

Hey all

the spring on my kickstart has gone, ive rigged up a temporary solution to keep the lever up when its not in use, but im trying to find a replacement spring with no joy

Anyone know where I can find the spring? ive seen the whole starter shaft assembly for sale from some chinese sites, but they want £30......

you can get one from any honda dealer ,just make sure its the right model as they vary alittle,Bad new is that the only way to fit it is to split the engine,so stick with the elastic bungee method .You might just as well restore the engine while its split.
