Ok this got mixed up between a bit of a debate in another thread. Im considering a SRAD 600 as a track bike as I can get one for around £1000. I know they look quite big bulky bikes but ive never ridden or sat on one. My J1 zx6r looked on the larger side but when sat on it it felt quite small and maneagable - just the large front fairing made it look and feel bigger than it was. Just how lardy are these SRADs? Bigger than the zx6r??
What they like as a track bike - in fact what are they like as a bike in general? decent enough handling for a first track bike? Reliablity?? Ive seen a few go for around £850 - £950 so is a bike with various new parts - some wets on wheels and rearsets etc etc worth a punt for £1000?

friend of mine has 2 srads for sale 1 600cc 1 750cc he has them both in 1 auction and i think hes only hoping for £1000 for the pair both are rough but run well ideal for racing
