You can't strighten them in a vice, but you could do it with a pres and vee-blocks. To check a pair of forks for straightness you can use vee blocks and a dial gauge or if you have no tools simply remove both stanchions and roll them together on a flat surface and look for gaps in between them.

Motoline should be able to straighten them for you if they are not too bad?

Pete is telling you how its done.... if you have to ask, you probably cant do it! The fork stansion is chromed and then precision ground to provide a 'bearing surface' for the fork slider bush to slid up and down on, and the fork seals to seal against.
If you start bending and bashing with blacksmith type technology (BIG HAMMERS!) you are as likely to do more harm than good and make more problems than you solve.
Damage teh chrome and you'll be looking at £150 to get them rechromed and re ground, after straghtening.
Yes, they can probably be straightened by a motorliner place, or good machine shop....
But YBR forks are available new, from Wemoto and the like for about £30 a leg or something daft..... not really worth the hassle... just get a new one!

OK, I appologise, remember seeing prices around the £60 mark, I thought was for a pair, so halved it; wemoto, is £99 a leg, others on e-bay around £70... on a quick trawl....
It's still not exhorbitant, when you are talking similar money or more to get a leg straightened or reconditioned.... and you are getting a new bit of metal, thats not been stretched and then stretched back again, and not as strong as it was to begin with... and is a pretty critical structural member..... not something like an exhaust bracket that possibly wont do anything dire if its not that straight or breaks!
