xps 50cc

my frind has a peugoeut xps 50 (80cc big bore on it)
and we was ridding today and everything just locked up
if the engine has seized can you fix it by putting a new piston in it or would you have to buy a new engine thanks

just take the top end off of it and see what / if any damage has occured.

you might just need to free it off if it heat seized and you had a lucky escape ( thats happened to me on a suzuki ts50 ) ... worse case scenario is a seized bottom end / crankshaft bearings - but just a bigger job. all parts are replaceable so it doesnt mean a complete new engine.

yeah ran out of 2stroke , and no i dont think it has been re-jeted
