I am in trouble again! Gave my bike to a friend - mechanic to repair, change of sprockets and chain. She saw of the old original chain and forgot to check if a new one had a link and split. I hasn't got one and she hasn't got a riveting tool to connect the new one. I am trying now to find link and split of a right size. There is some on ebay but I don't know the right size. The only think I know is that the chain is 520110... what does it mean? Which size I should buy,
08B-1, 12B-1 6SR, 10B-1 5SR??? I am confused...

I guess it's a 520 pitch chain, but you'd need the make aswell as some links vary in shape.

What make, model and size is the chain?

Sounds like 520 pitch 110 links, but that doesn't really help us. Have a look at the plates on the chain they should have a brand and possibly also details of the model.

Find those details and it will be easy to find an appropriate master link.

I'd be very tempted to rivett it.

KLE500s seem to be prone to spitting the keeper plates off split links. I suspect it's something to do with the chain guides. Mine spat two chains off and I noticed a keeper plate missing off the split link before it spat off a third time.
