Was driving on the dual-carriageway when my motorbike lost all power, mechanic was called out and said it was the spark, htc cable or coil. All have now been replaced with new parts and still it does not fire up, it attempts to and there is spark. Replaced fuel hose as was a small hole. Still not starting, now thinking perhaps it is the CDI? If anyone else has any suggestions please let me know. I have a custom vulcan 125. (2005 model).

If its sparking, id say ecu (might be cdi) is fine.

Check you have fuel getting to the actual engine, also you have changed the spark plug right?

What im saying is...the ECU/CDI should be fine.

Narrow down other causes first lol.
Can you feel air being forced out of the exhaust when you try to turn it over?

Cut out suddenly Arrow likely to be electrics.
Gradually lost power Arrow likely to be fuel.

Got fuel in the float bowl? Plug colour? Checked the main earth connection?
