I am trying to identify a fixing that I have missing from my mirror
(I can't take a picture as my phone is brocken).

It is just like a well nut (m6 in size), but it is all made of metal.
It screws onto the fixed stud of the mirror to hold it in place.

On the end where there is a flange there is a allan key socket so that the nut can be tightend.

Any ideas

I will have a look but I'm not sure the mirrors are standard.

HT,

It is similar to that pic, but if you imagine the flanged bit with allen head is correct as per your pic.
But the threaded bolt end is female instead of male, so it screws onto a fixed stud of the mirror and recedes into the support bar until the flanged bit stops it going further.
