Converting Suzuki GP100 from 6V to 12

Just wondering if it’s a simple job or a night mare of wires.

Not a simple job, you'd have to replace the generator and I'm not sure you'd get a 12V one small enough to fit in the engine casing. Then you would probably need an entire new loom making up, new ignition system etc, etc. As far as I'm aware, 6V sysyems are used on smaller bikes as it would use up too much power to drive a 12V one.

i'm on a forum where quite a few people have done 12v conversions on there rxs 100's and seem to be going pretty well

its already been done for the RXS and I have done it personally for my own GP100 as an experiment. Although i haven't done the full setup.

It works well its just the matter of finding a headlight that fits!
