Not being funny, but there was absolutely no reason that the dealer should pay more than 1800 unless he *really* wanted your bike. If you wanted more then you should have sold it privately.

I'm angry with that twat, I'm pissed off cos I have no bike. Felt very sad putting all my gear away, not knowing when its gonna get used again.

There is a reason why the dealer spoke to you like that and thats because he knew that you needed the money fast otherwise you would have sold it privately. I have to say that giving someone a fat lip because they talk down to you is a pretty immature attitude. Yeah so you didn't want to sell your bike, and yeah so he didn't give you what you wanted, but why should he? You need to just rise above it.

And I'm glad that I never go to your pub! Confused

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Everyone, especially dealers, are out to get the best deals and won't pay more than is neccessary!

I buy and sell stuff quite often and some of the prices I offer people for bits they find offensive, same with that dealer, they don't "have" to buy the bike.
