Take any bike kit you have, and all your liscence details.

I find a bag with some food and drink helpful - though you will probably get a break to go off and buy some of your own (but I get peckish and need regular intake).

As for advice, pay attention, and relax. Try to enjoy yourself, it's supposed to be fun Very Happy

oh, and GOOD LUCK

Oliver,

I did mine a month ago and you will need both parts of your driving license, suitable gloves and a snack to eat when you watch the videos. You will also need to read a number plate at distance so make sure you take glasses if you need them. Just take your time and listen to what the instructor tells you and I'm you will be fine. Good luck with it!

Hi,

You shouldn't need to take anything - they should provide all of the bike clothing you will need. If not, take all the bike gear you have got, if any! You'll need your licence, obviously.

General advice on the day? Not much - apart from you'll enjoy it, it's great to get out on the roads!

The theory bits may be a bit boring, but worthwhile.

Don't bother with the skiiing gloves!

They'll have proper gloves at the CBT school which you'd be better off with.

Hi

The ski gloves will not be very protective if you should fall onto tarmac. Take them, but the place should have more suitable gloves they can let you use.

Wear some boots that cover you ankle.

After that relax and enjoy the day.

All the best

Keith

There is no requirement for CBT in NI. There are quite a few laws that are different in NI. For example you could ride a 250 as a learner over there until the mid 1990s, and on the mainland we do not have the one year "R" plate restriction.

All the best
