Hello, 7 july was my birthday , got a text from my daughter in the USA, wishing me a happybirthday. who i havent seen in over 6 yrs. I really feel down and wonderin if anybody can relate to this coz this is has my head totaly fkd. Ive always payed my way money wise and she wants for nothing, I want my child in my life bigtime all the time.But GW Bush decided i was an undesireable in the States n sent me back to EIRE.
Any words of wisdom or solace would go along way

My Dad's in Australia, and I've seen him once in the last three years when I flew out to say hello. I miss him terribly (he was in the UK till he flew out), but for his birthdays I'll still generally only send him a text; he gets a large gift posted out from me and my two siblings at xmas mind. Even at 31 years old I can find it a bit of a headfuck to not have him around which isn't a reflection on him, maybe your daughter feels the same way?

A text on his birthday doesn't mean that I love him any less; keep your chin up

Got to agree with the others see if she is on Skype and if all goes well see if you can get out to Vancouver and she can come up to meet you because it is very difficult to get back into states if they have had you removed
