while i am at it can i run server file on my ntl webspace?? how do you get it to do that do i need a webserver to do that ?!?!
sooo not going well here ____________________ F'it DO WHAT EVER MAKES YOU HAPPY!!!!! Even if it screws over everyone else :p

It's unlikely that your NTL webspace will have JSP/Servlet support. What server are you trying to use? I think that I used Tomcat for servlets before, but that was quite a while ago so don't remember too many detail off the top of my head.
I was running on Windows 2000, and I needed Zonealarm (or any other Firewall software I guess) to be running so that I could "allow" the server to run.
Also, unless you fiddle around the settings, you may have to put your packages/beans/classes in a certain folder within the server installation directory. ____________________ TiN
