Claud Butler Milano frame with carbon aero forks and Vuelta lightweight rims.

Shimano gearsets and can't remember the name of the manfacturer of the cleats.

Tri-bars and cyclometer.

I used it for triathlon training and usage before I did my legs in, still use it for the odd Bristol-Bath 25 mile ride though. Thumbs Up.

Weighs literally nothing, it's fantastic to ride and very comfortable.

El cheapo Raleigh Mustang (not the original just a mountain bike named after it)

Cheap as chips but gets the job done..could do with more gears though!!!

Only mods? I changed the saddle since this pic was taken..the thin one that was on there was a little uncomfortable..felt like it was trying to penetrate me, and I just don't swing that way...

I'm in the process of building a new single speed round an old 1960's Puch steel racer frame I picked up in the car boot for £24. My new house is at the top of a long hill into town so I'm planning on getting a double freewheel with two different sprocket sizes on a QD hub. Ride fast down the hill, goto shops, switch chain onto lower gear, ride back up hill.
https://www.charliethebikemonger.com/ekmps/shops/bikemonger/images/white-industries-dos-double-freewheel-928-p.jpg

Favourite one I've built recently though is the fixie I made for my fiancee. 1976 Releigh competition frame in reynolds tubing. Double acting Weinman calliper on the front. Systemex flip-flop hub and a nice mavic rims. Shimmed out original alloy crankset with shortened stack bolts.

Weighed 5kg dead before I was made to take the period Brookes racing saddle off and attach something "with more padding".

Yes, that did say STEEL frame and FIVE kilogrammes.

This thread makes me sad Crying or Very sad

My favourite bike got stolen 2 weeks ago from Manchester city centre, I loved it to bits (literally...), so easy to throw around and just a great laugh to mess about on.

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v331/serenaur/IMG_2157.jpg

NS Suburban 26

I spent many hours at the BMX track just jumping and pumping around on it!

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v331/serenaur/IMG_3362.jpg

I also have a Vario Kaktus RC full suspension bike for the hills:

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v331/serenaur/IMG_4859.jpg

Few retro parts like the Marzocchi Monster T forks but it's like a motocross bike without an engine, it just rolls over and through everything! Bit rubbish for city centre commuting though!

Steezy whips for the win though Very Happy

One of these:

Except I upgraded the rims to Mavic Aksium's. Not a fan of the standard Alex Rims as kept getting spoke snappages.

GT Aggressor XC2. Financed this for £400 when my CBR broke once, regret it at the time but love it now. By no means a fantastic bike but is great for what i want it for.

Haha yes, of course. It weighs around ~5kg at most. When you are riding that feels like nothing.

As for the age of it, I'm not sure. I will take a look in the owner's manual. I got it for £400 second hand but immaculate. Absolute bargain. Smile.
