hmm, what's going on here. I just watched an episode of "Men of a Certain Age" where he used cramp as an excuse for shooting his load early. It worked out good for him though Thinking

Drink more soda water, it has the essential ingredient quinine in, which rapidly reduces cramps. That and a small dose of Amitriptyline each evening dulls the nerve sensation that causes the twitching that results in cramps. Thumbs Up

Been there, done that, had a massive laugh about it and kept on keepin' on. Laughing!

Also, I hated taking amitriptyline. Switched me to gabapentin which sent me mad (as in aggressive) and now they've stopped giving me nerve painkillers like tricyclics and x-inhibitors.

Pins and needles I like though...strange kind of pain when you try and walk.

Can't stand cramp, I get it bad in my legs a few times per week, especially if I've been to the gym that day. I can go from a deep sleep to hoping around the bedroom in agony in half a second... Thumbs Down

Cramp is a build up of lactive acid this comes from your body doing exercise and is a by proudct of 1 of our energy systems....to stop it you should stretch after exercise ....obviously jumping off your bird and doing some calf stretchs is abit wierd...so perhaps just general exercise and stretchhing will stop it occuring so much.
